Hi, I am Richa Bansal.
I am an Oil and Gas professional with over 8 years of experience in operations, engineering, supply chain and management. An engineer by background and a businesswoman at heart, I am an advocate for women leadership in engineering and technology fields.
Being the only woman in my undergraduate class of 68 students in India, the only woman on an oil rig of 125 crew in Malaysia, and one of the only woman engineering managers in a staff of 150 professionals at work in the US, I see that women all over the world are still a minority in engineering and technology. I want to change that!
In 2016, I had my first son while pursuing an MBA and a full-time job. On more than a few occasions I was asked if I am taking a break from work. Why are these questions always asked of working women? I want to change that too!
Juggling a young family and a managerial job is hard. I get it! What made it possible for me was a lot of help from family and friends, a positive attitude and the right training to enable success in my job. It is this training that I want to pass along to you, so that you can pursue career success without feeling inadequate, overwhelmed or guilty.
